With these You-Do-You cookies, we're providing you a trusty, reliable standard cookie base that you can customize with your own favorite add-ins. Our inspiration was from National Cereal Day - so Chef Chrissy made hers with cornflakes and sprinkles - but what you mix in is up to you!
4 cups all-purpose flour
1-¼ tsp baking soda
1-½ tsp baking powder
1-¼ tsp salt
1-¼ cups butter, softened
1-¼ cups light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2-½ teaspoons vanilla extract
2-½ cups to 3-½ cups add-ins (chocolate chips, cornflakes, sprinkles, etc.)
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
With the mixer on low, add eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
Slowly add in the dry ingredients.
Fold in add-ins of choice.
Scoop out balls with a medium cookie scoop. Place 5-6 scoops onto a parchment or silicone-lined Tovala sheet tray.*
