2.25 tsp. yeast

1/4 cup warm water

2 tsp. + 2 tbsp. sugar

2 tbsp. butter, melted

8 oz. sour cream

1/2 tsp. salt

1 egg

3.25 cups all-purpose flour

8 oz. cream cheese

1 egg

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 tsp. salt

1 tsp. vanilla

1.5 cups powdered sugar

1.5 tbsp. melted butter

1.5 tbsp. milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Green, yellow, and purple sprinkles

Put yeast in a bowl with warm water and 2 tsp. sugar. Let sit ~10 minutes for yeast to activate.

Add butter, sour cream, remaining 2 tbsp. sugar, salt, egg, and flour to the bowl.

Using the hook attachment of an electric mixer, work the dough for 5-10 minutes until the dough is elastic and doesn't tear when pulled.

Allow dough to rise in a greased bowl for an hour or until doubled in size.

Make the filling by combining cream cheese, egg, sugar, salt, and vanilla.

Roll out the dough into a ~20 inch long rectangle. Fill with cream cheese mixture and jam.

Roll dough into a log and form into a circle on Tovala sheet tray.
